Privacy notice

Last updated: 23 June 2026.

This notice explains what information Sunset Capital Partners UK Limited (“Sunset Capital”, “we”, “us”) handles when you visit www.sunsetcapital.co.uk or get in touch with us. We have written it plainly. If anything here is unclear, email angus@sunsetcapital.co.uk and we will explain.

Who is responsible

Sunset Capital Partners UK Limited is the data controller for any personal data you share with us through this site or by email. Registered in England and Wales, company number 17353561, registered office Merrieweathers, East Street, Mayfield, England, TN20 6RJ.

How to contact us

We do not run a contact form on this site. Enquiries reach us by direct email to angus@sunsetcapital.co.uk. If you write to us, we will see your email address, your name (if your email client shares it), and whatever you choose to write in the message.

What we do not collect

  • No contact form, so no form fields are collected.
  • No analytics, no advertising cookies, no marketing pixels.
  • No third-party scripts or trackers embedded in the pages.
  • No fonts loaded from a third-party CDN — webfonts are served from the same origin as the rest of the site, so visiting the site does not share your IP with Google Fonts or any other font host.

The site is hosted on Vercel, which records standard server-side request logs (IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) for operational and security purposes. These are retained on Vercel's infrastructure under their data-processing terms; we do not aggregate or analyse them.

What we do with your email

If you email us, we store and respond from a regular business mailbox. We use your email to reply to your enquiry, to continue the conversation, and — if it becomes a working relationship — to do our work for you. We do not add you to a marketing list. We do not share your message with anyone outside Sunset Capital without your permission, except where we are required to by law or by a regulator.

Conversations with prospective and current clients are treated in the strictest confidence. This is core to how we work.

How long we keep it

Email correspondence is kept for as long as is reasonably useful to the working relationship, and otherwise per our normal record-keeping (typically six years for business records, in line with UK accounting and tax requirements). You can ask us to delete it sooner — see the next section.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data of yours we hold,
  • correct anything that is wrong,
  • delete it (subject to any legal records we have to keep),
  • restrict or object to how we use it,
  • provide a copy in a portable format.

Email angus@sunsetcapital.co.ukto make any of those requests. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Jurisdiction

This notice and any matter arising from it is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Changes to this notice

If we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
